Our Level 2 course consists of two terms and you may apply for either. The course you are offered will depend on your experience and spaces available.

Summary:
This Level 2B course is designed to deepen your connection to classical performance by advancing your skills in interpreting heightened language and embodying complex characters. Through focused scene and monologue work, you will learn to express clear intention using refined voice and movement techniques.
The course places strong emphasis on the analysis of classical texts, helping
you uncover subtext and historical context to bring characters to life with authenticity and depth.
You will refine your vocal dynamics and physical presence, integrating advanced techniques that add nuance and emotional complexity to your performance. The training builds on foundational acting methods, encouraging a more sophisticated and personalised approach to classical material.
With guidance from your Core Tutor and guest industry professionals, you’ll revisit familiar techniques from a more advanced and analytical perspective.
As you explore the intersections of voice, movement, and text, the course challenges you intellectually and emotionally, preparing you to approach classical roles with greater confidence, technical precision, and emotional truth.
